China fortune Land Development (CFLD) is one of the leading Industrial City operators in China. Through MOU CIDCO with the help of CFLD had agreed to develop comprehensive Industrial Township in NAINA Navi Mumbai. In order to take this project forward CFLD had appointed me as a Chairman of its Mumbai Business Unit.

Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division
Headed Konkan Division, the most urbanized Division out of 6 Divisions in Maharashtra. Divisional Commissioner, being the highest Administrative, Executive and Coordinating Authority in the Division, is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the District Collectors, CEO-Zilla Parishads, Chief Officers-Municipal Councils and officers at Division level.
Management and Leadership Successes:
- Land acquisition on super fast-track basis for National Highways, Navi Mumbai Airport, DMIC and DFC
- Completed computerization of land records and initiated development of websites for all 47 Tehsils
- Initiated development of historical Raigad Fort and surrounding areas to promote tourism
- Organized multiple workshops for revenue officers to ensure more efficient delivery of services to citizens
- Initiated various measures to protect and rejuvenate mangroves in the coastal areas
- Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Sindhudurg District has been made Open Defecation Free (ODF)

Responsible for development of the existing airport of Nagpur as an International Passenger and Cargo Hub Airport (“MIHAN”) along with a huge SEZ and a Township, and to design and implement the State Aviation Policy to ensure optimum utilization of aviation infrastructure including new and existing airports and allied facilities in Maharashtra. Management and Leadership Successes:
- Attracted substantial investments in MIHAN
- Designed Land Disposal Regulations, DCR, Land Use Plan, Land Disposal Policies, etc.
- Fast-tracked process of selection of concessionaire for modernization of Nagpur Airport
- Guidance to Nagpur Metro Project leading to substantial reduction in project cost
- Aviation infrastructure of Shirdi Green-field Airport has almost been completed

CIDCO, India’s Premiere Town Planning Agency and City-Developer, has planned and developed Navi Mumbai, one of the largest planned city in the world. It also provides consultancy, Project Management and Designing services. Was responsible for development of planned, environment-friendly model urban settlements with state-of-the-art physical and social infrastructure covering land acquisition, town planning, designing, rehabilitation, infrastructure development, architecture, construction management, transport planning, finance, marketing, estate management, etc.
Management and Leadership Successes:
- Planned, obtained clearances and fast-tracked development of Navi Mumbai International Airport
- Designed and implemented unique schemes for PAPs
- Designed, planned and commenced construction of Metro Rail Project for Navi Mumbai
- Long pending issues pertaining to commercials, etc. for suburban lines resolved with Ministry of Railways and
commenced construction of suburban rail network - Conceptualized, formulated and developed large-scale housing schemes

CEO, Maharashtra State Khadi & Village Industries Board (MSKVIB)
MSKVIB is a Government of Maharashtra undertaking engaged in end-to-end encouragement, organization, development and regulation of Khadi & Village Industries in the State. Among significant over-achievements of social targets during the tenure, innovation and R&D efforts were strengthened. Unique “Bee-Keeping” program was implemented ensuring safety of agricultural crops and increasing revenue of the farmers by sale of honey.

Chief Officer, Mumbai Building Repairs & Reconstruction Board (MBR&RB) of MHADA
MHADA is an apex public body under Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra to integrate the activities and functions performed by statutory bodies to provide comprehensive approach to the problems of housing. During the short tenure, various innovative projects and policies including highly successful Comprehensive Cluster Development Scheme were designed and implemented for redevelopment of the dilapidated buildings in Mumbai.

Joint Chief Executive Officer, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC)
MIDC is the apex public body for promoting industrial development in Maharashtra. Key responsibilities included management of 270 industrial clusters, land acquisition and allotment, creation of required infrastructure, interactions with domestic as well as foreign investors for bringing more investment, development of SEZs, development of group captive power projects and development of industry-specific clusters.
Management and Leadership Successes:
- Planned, acquired land and fast-tracked development of industrial clusters covering nearly 10,000 hectares
- Designed and implemented unique schemes for PAPs
- Facilitated investment proposals worth INR 100 billion

Collector and Magistrate, Nanded District
Nanded is amongst the top 100 districts in India in terms of population. A Collector is looked upon as a symbol of Government in the district. Responsibilities included maintenance of law and order, revenue administration and social initiatives to promote all-round development of people. Designed and implemented various e-Governance initiatives including “SETU” which were appreciated at the topmost levels and replicated across the State. Implemented various water conservation programs through Public participation.
